HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution-1990-1201 RESOLUTION NO. 1201 Series of 1990 TITLE: A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL SUMS OF MONEY IN EXCESS OF AMOUNTS BUDGETED FOR THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO FOR FISCAL YEAR 1990. WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge Annual Budget for the fiscal year 1990 has been adopted through Resolution No. 1179 on the 11th day of December, 1989; and WHEREAS, the City Council has given preliminary approval to initiate a Drug Abuse Resistence Education (D.A.R.E.) program for the City of Wheat Ridge starting June 1, 1990; and WHEREAS, there is a need to transfer budgeted and appropriated moneys between spending agencies within the General Fund to fund the D.A.R.E. program; and WHEREAS, a total of $25,281 is needed to fund this program for fiscal year 1990, and these monies will be transferred from the General Fund Unallocated Fund Balance into the Police Department D.A.R.E. Program Division for expenditure. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado: A . That the sum of $25,281 is hereby transferred from the General Fund Reserves Unallocated Fund Balance to the General Fund Police Department D.A.R.E. Program Division for the purpose of initiating the Drug Abuse Resistance Education program for the City of Wheat Ridge in 1990.
