HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution-1991-1253 RESOLUTION NO. 1253 Series of 1991 TITLE: A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL SUMS OF MONEY IN EXCESS OF AMOUNTS BUDGETED FOR THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO FOR FISCAL YEAR 1991. WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge Annual Budget for the fiscal year 1991 has been adopted through Resolution No. 1226 on the 26th day of November, 1990; WHEREAS, the 1990 actual carryover fund balance to 1991 revenue is $1,090,224 greater than budgeted for 1991 because of unanticipated additional revenues for both the General and Capital Projects Funds; WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge received an unanticipated $4,700 from the Victim Assistance and Law Enforcement fund for the purpose of purchasing equipment for the Support Services Division of the Police Department; WHEREAS, the Capital Projects Fund fund balance increased by $51,403 from adding unspent monies for 1991 closed out projects that was unanticipated during the preparation of the 1991 budget; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado: A . That the additional sum of $482,046 be appropriated for expenditure in the General Fund in 1991, for the purpose of purchasing equipment for the Police Department, and unforeseen expenditures in the una110cated fund balance account; and B. That the additional sum of $664,281 be appropriated for expenditure in the Capital Projects Fund in 1991, for the purpose of completing the reconstruction of 38th Avenue between Wadsworth and Sheridan Boulevards; and C. That the 1991 total appropriation for the General Fund be hereby increased from $10,800,342 to $11,282,388, and the 1991 total appropriation for the Capital Projects Fund be hereby increased from $3,380,574 to $4,044,855.
