RESOLUTION NO. 1303
SERIES OF 1992
TITLE:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO,
APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE,
AND THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON REGARDING ENTERPRISE ZONE
DESIGNATION AND ZONE ADMINISTRATION.
WHEREAS, the Jefferson Economic Council has diligently
worked with the City of Wheat Ridge and the state Department of
Local Affairs to achieve designation of a Wheat Ridge Enterprise
Sub-zone; and
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge concurs with the terms
and conditions contained in the Jefferson County Enterprise Zone
application including designation of the Jefferson Economic
Council - Executive Director as the Zone Administrator.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Wheat
Ridge, Colorado, supports the application submitted by Jefferson
County which creates the Wheat Ridge Enterprise Sub-zone for the
purpose of promoting economic development and employment
opportunities for its citizens and business community subject to
the terms and conditions set forth in the Jefferson County
Enterprise Zone application dated December, 1990.
