RESOLUTION NO. 1533
SERIES OF 1996
TITLE: A RESOLUTION INITIATING REZONING PROCEDURES FOR A LARGE
AREA LOCATED IN THE PANORAMA PARK NEIGHBORHOOD.
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge has adopted specific
procedures for City Initiated rezonings pursuant to Ordinance No.
1025, Series of 1996; and
WHEREAS, Exhibit A, attached
is a map which illustrates the
rezoning; and
hereto and incorporated herein,
general area of the proposed
WHEREAS, the purpose and objectives to be achieved by this
City initiated large area rezoning are:
1. To preserve and protect predominately low density
residential character of the Panorama Park neighborhood.
2. To recognize and exclude existing developed high density
residential uses.
3. To rezone to bring this area into conformance with the
comprehensive plan.
4. To rezone from Residential-Three (R-3) to Residential-One C
(R-1C) and to Residential-Two (R-2) so as to preserve the
low density residential character of the area.
NOWTHEREFORE, be it resolved that the Wheat Ridge City
Council has initiated a LARGE AREA REZONING by adoption of this
resolution and shall forward this proposal to the Planning
Commission for public hearing and recommendations.
