RESOLUTION NO. 1649
SERIES OF 1998
TITLE:
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING JEFFERSON COUNTY OPEN SPACE
TO CONTINUE NEGOTIATIONS AND TO ACQUIRE THE 7.51 ACRES,
MORE OR LESS, OF PROPERTY WCATED AT 6287 W. 49TH AVE
(JAIDINGER PROPERTY) AT THE NEGOTIATED FAIR MARKET
PURCHASE PRICE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge has previously
authorized Jefferson County Open Space to secure an appraisal, title commitment, survey,
environmental assessment, and negotiate the fair market value of the 7 51 acres, more or
less, ofland located at 6287 W. 49th Ave. and,
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Open Space staffhas completed the appraisal,
title commitment, survey, environmental assessment, and negotiated the fair market value
all of which has been made known to the City Council, and;
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge to
have said purchase completed utilizing funds within the City of Wheat Ridge attributable
shard of the Jefferson County Open Space Fund, and:
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge to
authorize Jefferson County Open Space to continue negotiations and to acquire the 7 51
acres, more or less, ofland located at 6287 W 49th Ave at the negotiated purchase price
for Parks and Recreation purposes,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Wheat Ridge that Jefferson County Open Space be authorized to continue negotiations
and to acquire the 7.51 acres more or less ofland located at 6287 W.49th Ave, (Jaidinger
Property) at the negotiated fair market purchase price.
DONE AND RESOLVED this 12th Day of January ,1998
