Tony Fla~co asked what the rity'~ office hour~ are Mike Smith replied
they are 8 30 a rn - 5 00 p m hr Fla~co ha~ haj a 'l1inimum of three
telephone call~ froM citizen~ complaininb that they coul~n't get anybo~y
in ~ome department~ on Frijays, he would like an explanation Mike
Smith replied that Engineerin~ hai gone to four 10-hour iay~, but the
department would be staffed 5 iay~ a week Mr FIasco inquired if he
callei in before 8 30 or after 5 anj askei to tal~ to an engineer, if he
could do ~o Mike Smith stated that the ~witchboard i~ only open from
B 30 to 5 00 Mr Fla~co repliei that was his point, citizen~ should be
able to get to tal~ to ~omebody from that department with
responsibility He would like to discu~~ thi~ at a Study Se~sion, if we
do thi~, we neei time clocks
Mr Merkl ~tated he had encountered problem~ in Park~, when he would
come in on Friday afternoon~ at 3 00 p m ani people had ~avei up their
lunch hours or brea~~ ~o they could take off early on Friday Thi~
isn't too bad if the secretary does it, but if everybody in the
department doe~ it, it presents a ha~~le There ~eeJlJ~ to be more of

Mr Haye~ and it i~ not Ol conflict of intere~t
Nancy Snow wauli like the rity of Wheat Ridge to go on record as beinG
oppo~ed to "ny c'J!llrnittee that i~ going to dt~pen~e that much rnoney ani
have that much tax power unless every city ha~ at least one
representative
She would like a Re~olution in opposition to any plan, any body t~at
doe~ not have a representative of every city
