CALL THE MEETING TO ORDER
The meeting of the Wheat Ridge Housing Authority was called to order by Chair
Brungardt at 5:00 p.m. in the council chambers of the Municipal Building, 7500
West 29"' Avenue, Wheat Ridge, Colorado.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES - October 24, 2006
It was moved by Terry Womble and seconded by Janice Thompson to
approve the minutes of October 24, 2006 as presented. The motion carried
4-0.
OFFICER'S REPORTS
There were no officer's reports.
PUBLIC FORUM
There was no one to address the Authority.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
• Larry Nelson reported that the Ingalls property under consideration by the
Authority did not work out. The property owner accepted another offer.
HOUSING AUTHORITY
November 15, 2006 ' 1 -
He distributed some "before" photographs provided by Henry Wehrdt on the
Parfet property and gave a construction update on the property. He estimated
completion in six or eight weeks.
Cheryl Brungardt reported that she checked on the availability of trees from
Wheat Ridge 2020 for this project. It is too late to plant this year but trees are
going to be available in the spring.
G. PUBLIC HEARING
Resolution 01-2006, Presentation and Approval of 2007 Budget.
Budget
Dick Matthews reviewed the Housing Authority's 2007 budget.
There was no one from the public who wished to comment on the
resolution.
It was moved by Terry Womble and seconded by Janice Thompson to
approve Resolution 01-2006, a resolution enacting a budget and
appropriation for the year 2007. The motion carried 4-0.
H. OTHER
Alan Feinstein reported that it has become necessary for the Jefferson County
Housing Authority to sell a parcel of land. He spoke with the owner of
property on West 481h Avenue who is willing to sell to the Wheat Ridge
Housing Authority. The owner would use the proceeds of such a sale to buy
Jeffco's land. The property available for sale to the Housing Authority
consists of thirteen townhomes and one single family home. Six units are
privately owned and would not be available for sale. Wheat Ridge 2020 is
aware of the project. Larry Nelson provided photographs of the subject
property.
There was discussion concerning possible problems arising from rehabilitating
the outside of all of the units which would include those that are privately
owned. Mr. Feinstein commented that there has not been time to inspect the
property or perform any due diligence.
It was moved by Kent Davis and seconded by Janice Thompson to direM
the initiation of due diligence on the property located at 6912-40 West
48th Avenue. The motion carried 4-0.

L ADJOURNMENT
It was moved by Janice Thompson and seconded by Terry Womble to
adjourn the meeting at 5:47 p.m. The motion passed unanimously. The next
Housing Authority meeting is scheduled for November 28, 2006.
