Dorothy 1hon:pson, 3014 Chase Street, read a letter from I-iheat hidge
United ~eighborhooos into the recoro, which urged Council to defer any
binding decisions until the less desirable parcels have been weeded out
and that a date be set in the future to consider these proposals
Motion by Mrs Snow that the Park staff give us an additional map that
shows a quarter mile raoius for anywhere we have ~ark equipment and that
we ask the parks oepartrnent to narrow down the list to all the
lots that have at least 1/.:; of an acre and study this wore fully and
cotrJe back with sonie recomwendations, seconded by Hr herkl
Mr Merkl asked to add that any HUG properties that have a house on thew
be dropped from the list

hrs Snow moved to alllenc that one of the shelters be taken out of 35th &
Gwens and be put in the Rock Gillhouse pro~erty, seconded by hr FIasco

give a blank check Until he knows what the total cost is, he doesn't
feel he has enough intormation to vote on this
