\~nce [awards, 320S Jay Street, spoke in favor of widening 32nd Avenue
frow Pierce to Sheridan no wider than 32 feet from flow line to flow
line ana presented a petition to that etfect
Lob Goebel responded that the Lity had no plans to widen the street to
more than 34 teet

consensus that it be brought to the next Council Meeting
Mr Merkl suggested that the City expenoiture part be brought to the
next Council heeting, but the remainder of the motion be voted on now
hr ~erkl seconded the motion, carrieo b-U with the exclusion of the
City's expenoiture
Motion by hr Selstad that we abide by the guioelines in the petition
regaroing 32nd Avenue and as presented by Public 'works, that that
section of 32nd Avenue be rebuilt no wider than the 3c to 34 feet,
seconded by hr tv:erkl, Faileo 4-4 wi th Counciln,ellJbers Sel staG, ~,erkl,
brougham, and 0hanley voting yes
Motion by Mrs brougham to bring a Resolution to the next Council
Meeting encouraging tree planting, seconded by Mr Shanley, carrieo 8-0
She informeo Council that on April 14 a tree plantinf:, would take place
along the Greenbelt and also a clean-up On April 21, Jeff Co (pen Space
would holo a tree planting along Crown hill rark
