Structural Design and Analysis September 11, 2018 To: Josh Tolve RE: General Conformance of garage construction Location: 36 Hillside Drive Wheat Ridge, Colorado Mr. Tolve, The purpose of this letter is to confirm the proper installation of the new detached garage structure southwest of the house located at 36 Hillside Drive in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. The garage was to be constructed per the plans, elevations and sections provided to you that were stamped and dated January 10, 2018. The plans show a wood framed, gable end, structure constructed over a cast -in-place concrete slab -on -grade. On September 6, 2018 I accessed and photographed the garage including the Glu -Lam and wide flange steel beam bearing and cantilevers, roof framing, roof to wall connections and wall to floor installation. I also documented the perimeter of the cast -in-place concrete foundation slab. Based on my observations and discussions with you I believe that the garage framing and foundations were installed per the drawings dated January 10, 2018. No additional work is required to carry the loads prescribed by the 2015 International Building Code with the Jefferson County and Wheat Ridge building department amendments. No corrective work is required and finishes can be installed for the detached garage southwest of the home located at 36 Hillside Drive in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. We reserve the right to review any additional information concerning this property and to amend our opinions accordingly. No warranty is either expressed or implied in this inspection and opinions expressed in this report do not provide an insurance policy, nor warranty service.
