Site Observations: During our visit we noted the following: I, The contractor was in the process of enlarging the north widow in the west basement foundation wall ofthe home, The width of the window appears to have remained unchanged, but the window was being made taller by cutting the foundation wall beneath the existing window opening, 2, It appears that the contractor was able to keep the overcuts at the bottom corners of the window to a minimum, 3, It does not appear that any reinforcing steel was cut during the process of enlarging the window opening, 4, The wall appears to retain approximately 5' -0" of soil. 5, We observed no significant foundation wall or brick distresses in the immediate vicinity of the noted window, 6, The basement slab, at the northwest corner of the home, does not appear to have experienced significant vertical movement. Conclusions: Upon completing a structural review ofthe above noted site observations we have concluded the following: I.
