Maintenance Emergency Hi Betsy, As of approximately 6pm yesterday, I have no heat. I've checked with other tenants and they do. The neighbor in 22 is a commercial plumber and was kind enough to check the boiler and it's specific to my unit. However, there are major fire hazards down there with dripping water over exposed wiring. Please contact me immediately to address this!!! It's 65 degrees in my unit right now. I called the office multiple times and the phone number on the website, none of which listed an emergency maintenance number. I also submitted a request on the website. You must address the lack of an emergency maintenance contact also! This is clearly a maintenance emergency. Canevari Klos Real Estate Services Tiim Klos Phone #: (503) 473-296-7 (best contact #) Phone #:(303)860-7500 (303) 432-2878 Reason for requesting inspection: _I have not had heat, since April of this year, wh,en I moved in. 1 informed Klos RES by phone as soon' as I realized the problem. It was not fixed and I was told by Tim and Misti from Klos on two separate phone calls that it would be repaired over the summer. The cold weather came and my heat was still not working. I made relentless phone calls frQi11 the end of September until October 10 when I faxed in an official nOtification that my heat.was notworking. They had brought me two space heaters, one of which did not work. I made them aware of this in my written request, but still had to call one week later (around the 17th or 20th) to get a new one So I could have SGlme heat. Finally the last week of October I received a phone call that the heat repair technician would be coming that week to fix the heat. I received no phone calls or updates on the repair and as-of today, 13 November 2006 my heet is still not working. I called Tim on 9 Nov and told him to please get my heat fixed, I was quite upset and told him I had been patient long enough. He said he couldn't fix my heat because he didn't know how, all he could do was hire someone and they would do the best they could. I told him to -do th-at an(l maybe they should go into my apartment-and, try turning on the heat and start with that. , There has been no follow up and no communication on this issue. Heat is supposed to be provided for by my rent check and now, not only is it miserably ccid in my apartment, I am suffering higher electric bills due to the space heaters, This has gone on since lmoved in, and it needs to be addreSSed immediately, it's getting cold enough that I won't be able to stay in my apartment. "":"Also, during April I made a complaint about the loudness of the heating pipes in :tonjunction with my heat complaint. I was told that the heat repair technician had gone into the boiler room and had not noticed anything wrong. It was implied that he never set foot in my apartment. I am unaware, to this day, if the technician has even gone into my apartment to check the heating elements in there.
