The soil that was found during the observation at a depth of approximately 4 feet below the ground surface was verified to be Sandy Clay (SC) with a soil bearing capacity of 1500 psf as reported in the foundation design (completed by High Plains Engineering & Design, LLC) dated April 26, 2010. The observation of the footing reinforcement was made on May 25, 2010. The reinforcement appeared to be placed in general conformance to the High Plains Engineering & Design plan ( #10- 2135). We made an observation of the foundation wall reinforcement on May 26, 2010 at the above - described site. The reinforcement appeared to be placed in general conformance to the approved plans.
