The bulk samples collected were delivered to Reservoirs Environmental, Inc. a National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) asbestos laboratory located in Denver, Colorado. All bulk samples are held for two -months. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the State of Colorado Air Quality Control Commission considers a material as asbestos containing if the reported amount of asbestos is greater than one -percent. According to the analytical report, the bulk samples collected of suspect ACM, listed below, were reported as containing asbestos containing material. Each sample was collected randomly. OSHA, EPA, state and local asbestos regulations do apply to the sheet vinyl flooring in the kitchen. If the materials will not be removed, state and local asbestos regulations do not apply. The quantity of asbestos containing materials exceeds the trigger levels. There's greater than 32 square feet of asbestos sheet vinyl flooring in the kitchen. You are required to hire a General Abatement Contractor to properly remove and dispose of the sheet vinyl flooring in the kitchen.
