The two car garage has been converted to living space. ACTIONS: The foundation is at crawlspace level. The foundation consists of concrete block with conventional spread footings. The exterior walls are concrete block and brick The distance from the footing to the bottom of the floor joists is about 36". • The part of the north foundation wall with an interior measurement of 40'-7" has experienced inward de- flection. There are horizontal cracks in the middle mortar joints. • Mike Schmidt is proposing installing seven foundation wall anchors on this foundation wall. • The yard to the north of the home slopes downward. Estimating from the slope of the top of the fence the yard is about 12 inches lower at 12 feet from the foundation.
