Methodology Field Work: The construction specific ACM survey was completed in general accordance with Colorado Regulation 8 Part B, Colorado Regulation 19, EPA National Emissions Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAPS) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA) regulation 29 CFR 1926.1101. All samples were submitted to Reservoirs Environmental, Inc., under proper chain -of -custody procedures for 24 hr turn -around Reservoirs Environmental, Inc. participates in the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP). A material is considered to be asbestos -containing material (ACM) by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), if at least one sample collected from the homogenous material has asbestos present in a concentration greater than one percent (>I %). ACM Sample Findings A total of 5 samples were collected from 3 identified homogenous areas that. Please see Table #1 for sample locations and sample results. Of the 5 samples collected representing three (3) homogeneous areas ACM (>1%) was detected by laboratory analysis in the texture layer in the plaster & scratch -coat in front room (sample # 2661N -Plast -A2. Trace to 1.5% chrysotile asbestos was observed in the Plaster samples. Renovation plans will impact approximately 250-300 square feet of plaster.
