From the field observation, the existing roof structure was observed as Composition Shingle roofing over roof plywood supported by 2x6 Rafter @ 24" OC. The roof is sloped at approximately 22 degrees and has a max rafter span of 13'4" between supports. Design Criteria: • 2012 International Building Code Basic Wind Speed Vult = 105 mph (Vasd = 82 mph), Exposure C Ground Snow Load = 30 psf After review of the field observation report, the existing roof framing supporting the proposed solar panel layout has been determined to meet or exceed the requirements based on our structural capacity calculations in accordance with applicable building codes.
