Pursuant to the requirements in Parts 2 and 6 of the Radiation Control Division of the Colorado
Department of Health (CDPHE) Rules and- Regulations, an analysis has been performed for the
above listed site for x-ray shielding adequacy.
Note: # refers to lbs. per square foot for lead

Based on the workload, occupancy rates, use factors, and typical x-ray tube output performance,
the following recommendations are made:
1) The activation button for the x-ray unit needs to be positioned near the entry as noted on the

T'he followuag reqnurements are made under the 2003 Intemational Fire
Cale adopted by the Fire Board of the Wheat Ridge Fire Pratection Disbrict
and the City Council of the City of Wheat T2idge, Colorado.
