Dear Mr. Collins: At the time of our visit on March 11, 1998, the underdrain had been installed on the exterior of the foundation wall. The perforated underdrain was surrounded with gravel, the drain and gravel were underlain with a plastic membrane and were overlain with geofabric material. In lieu of being glued to the foundation wall the plastic membrane were covered on the top of the geofabric material. The top of the pipe was 99 to 114 inches below the top of the foundation wall. A sump was located in the southeast corner of the lower level and was about 32 inches deep. The invert of the pipe entering the sump was about 119 inches below the top of the foundation wall. The sump was dry at the time of our visit. The drain appeared to be installed substantially in accordance with our recommendations except plastic membrane covered on the top of tnv geofabric material. If you have any questions, please call.
