I was wondering if it would be possible to get an extension on my permit for our kitchen. With my dad having the
brain tumor, surgery and all the complications and my mom having type of retinal cancer ( this all started 8 days
after I pulled the permit) I was not able to work on the project for the better part of 4 months plus. Kirk has
inspected and so far the rough electrical and plumbing/hot water heater has been accepted. The stair issue has
been resolved and the fix is being installed. FYI the permit does expire on the 17th of October; sorry about this I
know it is a real hassle for you all. If an extension is possible please let me know what I need to do.

indicating which construction details will be used.
2 Provide a Floor Plan (site plan) showing dimensions of your project or addition
and its relationship to existing buildings or structures on the property and the distance
to existing property lines.
3 Fill out a building permit application.

Effective December 1, 2014, asphalt shingle installations require an approved midroof
inspection, conducted when 25-75 percent of the roof covering is installed, prior to final
approval. Installation of roof sheathing (new or overlay) requires an approved inspection
prior to installation of ANY roof coverings and is require on the entire roof when spaced
or board sheathing with ANY gap exceeding one half inch exists. Asphalt shingles are
required to be fastened to the roof deck with a minimum of 6 nails per shingle. Ice and
water shield is required. Eave and rake metal is required. A ladder extending 3 feet above
the roof eave and secured in place is required to be provided for all roof inspections.
Roof ventilation is required to comply with applicable codes and/or manufacturer
installation instructions, whichever is more stringent. In order to pass a final inspection
of elastomeric or similar type roof coverings, a letter of inspection and approval from the
manufacturer technical representative stating that "the application of the roof at (project
address) has been applied in accordance with the installation instruction for (roof
material brand name) roof covering" is required to be on site at the time of final
inspection.
Roof inspections for ROOFS OVER 6/12 PITCH: 3rd party inspection will be required, the 3rd
party inspection report will be collected at final roof inspection performed by City of
Wheat Ridge. If report is not available the final inspection will not be completed.

Residential Roofing Permit Application
This application is exclusively for new permits for residential roofs and for licensed
contractors only. This type of permit is ONLY being processed online --do not come
to City Hall to submit an application in person. Permits are processed and issued in
the order they are received and due to the volume of requests, time to process
varies and is subject to change. YOU WILL BE CONTACTED WHEN YOUR
PERMIT IS READY FOR PICK-UP AND WILL BE GIVEN A SPECIFIC DATE
AND TIME WINDOW TO COMPLETE THE TRANSACTION. You will be notified if
your contractor's license or insurance has expired, and you may update those
documents at the time you are issued your permit.
For all other requests:
Homeowners wishing to obtain a roofing permit must apply for the permit in person
at City Hall. Revisions to existing permits (for example, to add redecking) must be
completed in person at City Hall. All other non -roofing permits must be completed in
person at City Hall. The Building Division will be open from 7:30-10:30 a.m.,
Monday through Friday to process these types of requests.

The final payment is due on completion - not upon final inspection by any municipality - any questions or corrections requested by an inspector will be corrected as a
warranty item. 3% will be added to all credit card transaction.
I/We agree to retain Wapiti Enterprises to replace and/or repair the roof on the property aforementioned, contingent upon Wapiti Enterprises obtaining my insurance company's
approval and payment to have said work done. It is understood and agreed that Wapiti Enterprises is empowered to contact my insurance carrier and meet their representatives
in order to negotiate the payment (as to the amount of damage to the above property), and to discuss the repair or replacement work to be cone on the property. Upon
insurance carrier's and Wapiti Enterprises agreement to the extent of damages and the cost of fixing them, may begin work on said property. HOMEOWNER'S OUT-OF-
POCKET EXPENSE WILL NOT EXCEED THE HOMEOWNER'S INSURANCE POLICY DEDUCTIBLE AMOUNT FOR WORK AGREED UPON BETWEEN THE INSURANCE
CARRIER AND WAPITI ENTERPRISES. Homeowner also agrees to provide all necessary documentation for claim, also providing all pertinent documentation to facilitate
payment from insurance carrier and/or mortgage company.
All material is guaranteed to be as specified. All work is to be completed in a workmanlike manner according to standard practices. Homeowner hereby acknowledges
that Wapiti Enterprises may be subject to delays occasion by inclement weather, labor disputes, material shortage and/or insurance carrier delays which are beyond the
control of Wapiti Enterprises and hereby accepts any delays occasioned by one or all of these circumstances in the installation of your roof_ Homeowner grants full access
to the entire property for staging and execution of work unless otherwise agreed. Wapiti Enterprises will not be liable for any damage to soft or defective driveways due to
staging of work area and/or delivery of materials.
Alteration or deviation from above specifications involving extra costs will be executed only upon written orders and will become and extra charge over and above the
estimate. Also Wapiti Enterprises reserves the right to file for supplemental claim due to material or labor price increases due to a storm environment or if insurance
measurements are proven to be incorrect. Labor and material warranty covers roof only. Homeowner to carry fire, tornado, and all necessary insurance.

WE CERTIFY THAT ALL MATERIALS AND LABOR WILL BE PAID UPON COMPLETION OF OUR WORK AND CONCURRENT WITH RECEIPT OF PAYMENT IN FULL

You have the right to rescind this contract and obtain a full refund of any deposit within 72 hours after entering the contract. If you plan to use the proceeds of a property
and casualty insurance policy to pay for the roofing work, you may rescind this contract within 72 hours after you receive written notice from the property and casualty
insurer that your claim has been denied in whole or in part. However, Wapiti Enterprises is entitled to retain payments or deposits to compensate Wapiti Enterprises
for roofing work actually performed in a workmanlike manner consistent with standard roofing industry practices. Wapiti Enterprises will hold in trust any payment
from property owner until the contractor has delivered roofing material to the job site or has performed a majority of the roofing work on the property. Wapiti
Enterprises cannot pay, waive, rebate, or pro ise to pay, waive or rebate all or part of any insurance deductible applicable to the insurance claim for payment for roofing
work an your property. Property Owner is / is not __ , intending to make payment from the proceeds of a property and casualty insurance policy.
Acceptance of Contract: in Witness whereof the undersigned have hereunto subscribe heir names the day and year first above written, the above prices,
