The applicant approached staff with a proposal for two freestanding signs on this site, to accompany the development of a new Texaco \ Carl's jr. One of the freestanding signs will be 50 feet in height, and oriented to the Interstate 70, while the other sign will be 25 feet in height and oriented towards Kipling. Currently, the site has two freestanding signs, located in roughly the same location as the proposed signs. The adjacent neighbors were notified, and the site was posted for the required fifteen days, during which, there were no registered forms of complaints or comments. Therefore, all jurisdiction has been met. Staff recommends approval of case no. WA-97-5.
