Inspection Department:
I have inspected the existing foundation on which the new bedroom addition will bear. The
footing was of adequate size, approximately 10 "x18 ", with a monopour foundation wall and
slab -on- grade. The original function of this slab was a carport. There is no apparent cracking or
heaving of the foundation, carport slab, or driveway slab abutting the addition.
The foundation is adequate to bear the new bedroom live load requirements.

This permit shall expire 365 days after the date of issuance regardless of activity. Requests for extension must
be made in writing and received prior to the date of expiration. An extension of no more than 180 days made be granted
at the discretion of the Chief Building Official and may be subject to a fee equal to one- half of the original permit fee.

Replacement cost coverage pays the actual and necessary cost of repair or replacement, without a deduction for depreciation, subject to

The following items are required for obtaining a permit for the above address prior to issuance:
1. Provide mechanical, electrical and plumbing details on a floor plan
2. Provide plan showing what and how many roof trusses are being replaced, along with truss sheets or if
stick building; an engineers letter of what is required.
3. Provide Insurance adjusters Description of Work per their provisions and a description of any and all
other items being repaired or replaced.
Once these items are received, the building department can move forward with the review.
