Detailed Requirements /Examples
For fence, garage, shed, new driveway/concrete, patio/deck, and sign permits, a site plan is
required. The site plan should include the following basic information;
Site Plan:
• Depiction of Property lines
o Distance for each property line
o Size of lot in square feet
• Location of structure(s)
o Show setback distance to each property line
o Give square footage of existing and new building(s)
• Location of driveway
o The first 25' of driveway must be paved
o Driveway must connect to edge of street asphalt
o For comer lots, must be located at least 25 feet from intersection, except must beat least 50
feet from arterial or major collector intersection
