I/We agree to retain 1-Derful Roofing & Restoration (contractor) to repair/replace the damaged or entire portion of the property described on this contract contingent upon the contractor obtaining my insurance company's approval and payment to have said work completed. It is agreed that the contractor is empowered to contact my insurance carrier and to meet with their representative in order to negotiate the amount of damage, the cost of the repair or replacement of the damage to the above property. Upon the insurance carrier agreement with the contractor and the down payment being made the work will be scheduled and may begin on a first in first out basis.
