1. This permit was issued in accordance with the provisions set forth in your application and is subject to the laws of the
State of Colorado and to the Zoning Regulations and Building Codes of wheat Ridge, Colorado or any other applicable
ordinances of the City.
2. This permit shall expire 180 days from the issue date. Requests for an extension must be received prior to expiration
date. An extension may be granted at the discretion of the Building Official.
3. If this permit expires, a new permit may be acquired for a fee of one -half the amount normally required, provided no
changes have been or will be made in the original plans and specifications and any suspension or abandonment has not
exceeded one (1) year. If changes have been or if suspension or abandonment exceeds one (1) year, full fees shall
be paid for a new permit.
4. No work of any manner shall be done that will change the natural flow of water causing a drainage problem.
5. Contractor shall notify the Building Inspector twenty -four (24) hours in advance for all inspections and shall receive
written approval on inspection card before proceeding with successive phases of the job.
6. The issuance of a permit or the approval of drawings and specifications shall not be construed to be a permit for, nor
an approval of, any violation of the provisions of the building codes or any other ordinance, law, rule or regulation.

• A detailed letter stating the nature of your business.

• A complete floor plan drawn to scale, prepared by an engineer or architect.
• A complete electrical plan with electric service information prepared by an architect or
engineer.
• List of contractors used as part of the alterations.
Once this information has been submitted it will be reviewed and an inspection of the
property will be done prior to a building permit being issued.

As a result of the fire inspection conducted on 10l30/01 by the Arvada F've Protection District it
was brought to the attention of the Fire Mushals Office of possible spray 5nishing fire code
viofations at your business. As a result of our discussion copies of the 1997 Uniform Fire Code
have been prepared for your roview regarding the squnre foot limitations for a woodworking
facility in which an automatic fire sprinkter system is requ'ued, and applicable spcay 5nishing and
storage requirements for flammable liquids. Due to the increase in si2e ofyour bus'vaess since
10131 /00 thc 2,500 squace foot uea limitation has been exceeded requiring either an approved
auromatic fire extinguishing system or the installation of a one (1) hour fire sepazation with fire
rated door assenibly. UFC 97 1003.2.5.1. The spray booth which is cuttendy being used is an
unsafe azea for the application of flammable 5nishes and is necessary that it be replaced with an
approved booth meeeing all applications of UFC 97 Article 45 and approved storage methods of
ftanumable liquids UFC 97 9902.9 as soon as possible. Please submit a letter ofintent indicating
your time Intie for these corrections. All discrepancies shall be coaected by no later than 2/1/02.
