I would like to follow up on the status of the Exempla mylar. I have not received the mylar, and tomorrow will mark
the 90th day of inactivity on the case. As I mentioned in an earlier email, the Community Development Department
considers a case stagnant after an inactive period of 90 consecutive days. Please convey this message to your
client, and inform them that if the mylar is not submitted by next Friday, August 18, the case will be withdrawn. All
submittal fees and process to date will be lost. If they wish to proceed after the case has been withdrawn, they will
have to start the process over. If the mylar is submitted by next Friday, I will gather City signatures and record the
mylar with the Jefferson County Assessor. Please submit $11 per page for recordation. Feel free to call or email
me with any questions.

I wanted to touch base with you to check on the status of the amendment no. 7 to the Exempla Lutheran
Medical Center FDP. Comments were sent back more than 60 days ago, and the City has not received a
resubmittal. The Community Development Department considers an application 'stagnant' after 90 days of
inactivity. Please let me know if/when your client will be proceeding. Feel free to call or email with any
questions.

Just wanted to follow up with the voice mail that I left this morning regarding the Exempla Chiller facility. The only
change that needs to be made to the development plan is the following:
• Please correct the statement regarding Signage to read: "...in accordance with Chapter 26,
Article VII of the..."
Make this change and submit a full sized (24" x 36") mylar copy, signed and sealed, to me and I will recc
the document with the County. Please submit a reduced (11" x 17") paper copy of the final document as
well. Please make sure that Al signs the development plan in indelible ink (a sharpie), as the County can
very particular about signatures on documents. Also, my voice mail mentioned that we need a check for
$11.00 to record the documents. The fee is actually $11.00 per page, so a total of $33.00 will be needed f
recordation. If you have any questions, please let me know.

I have completed my initial review of the Final Development Plan amendment for the property located at
8300 W. 38`h Avenue, and I have the following comments:
General:
A. I have included all referral comments received by the Community Development
Department. Please direct any questions regarding these comments to the agency which
generated said comment.
B. Upon completion of all corrections, please submit one full sized (24" x 36") set of
drawings, one full sized set of mylar plans, a check for recordation ($11.00 per page) and
one reduced size (11" x 17") set of plans.
2. Final Development Plan, Page One:
A. In paragraph three, line three of the Explanation ofAmendment, please capitalize the first
word of the first sentence.
B. Please add the following case numbers to the Case History box: WZ-05-03 and WZ-05-15.
C. Please correct the statement regarding Signage to read: in accordance with Chapter 26,
Article VII of the..."
D. Please reword the first sentence of the Zoning Violation Severance Language. Please see
the red-lined plans for clarification.
E. Please correct the second line of the Surveyor's Certificate to read: "...Planned Hospital

F. Please correct the statement above the Legal Description ("Whereas... ' The sentence
appears to be incomplete.
G. Please correct the spelling of "thereof' in the first line of the Owner's Certification.

The Wheat Ridge Community Development Department has received a request for approval of
an administrative amendment to a Final Development Plan at the property located at 8300 W.
38th Avenue. No response from you will constitute having no objections or concerns regarding
this proposal.

Request: Amend a previously-approved Final Development Plan. The amendment would
allow an upgrade to existing chilled water and emergency power facilities. The total building
square footage will not increase.
