The following requirements are made under the 2003 International Fire Code adopted by the Fire Board of the Wheat Ridge Fire Protection District and the City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Plans shall be submitted to the Fire District for approval of the required Monitored Fire Alarm system. (A.D.A. requirements within the bathroom require strobe for notification of alarm.) 2. Plans show no G.F.I. outlets within 10 feet of the sinks. These shall be required per the 2002 N.E.C... 3. Plans shall remain onsite during all phases of construction. 4. The address numbers shall be clearly posted toward the street of address. 5. A fire extinguisher with a minimum rating of 2A-40BC shall be mounted 3 to 5 feet form the floor surface, and be accessible to the public as well as employees. 6. An emergency exit sign shall have battery back up for egress illumination. 7. The M.S.D.S. for the chemicals shall be forwarded t the fire district. The storage of chemicals shall be in an approved manor. 8. All biohazard containers shall be clearly marked as such. At no time can biohazard waste be thrown within the local trash. 9. Signs shall be posted on the main entry door stating "THESE DOORS ARE TO REMAIN UNLOCKED WHILE THE BUILDING IS OCCUPIED.,, 10.A reminder that the use of extension cords should be temporary use only.
