The existing structure will be adequate for supporting the additional PV dead load, snow and wind loads. The securement method of the PV system is to be flush mounted to the asphalt shingle roof with Unirac railing and the Roof -Tech RT mini mount. The attachments can be attached up to 48" apart and should be staggered, where possible, to allow distribution of the design loads evenly to the structure. The mounts shall be installed with a min. 2 x 5.0 x 60mm wood screws with minimum 2-5/16' thread length directly to roof truss. Please note that only a portion of the roof structure was reviewed. In response to a question from Board Member ECHELMEYER, the applicants stated there has never baen any storm water in the smeet. The original owners who lived there for thirty years informed the Ziegler's that they never experienced any water in the street. At the request of Boazd Member DRDA, 7ravis Craae displayed the list of considerations involved with floodplain dxisions as contained in the Wheat Ridge Code of Laws. He pointed out that the Maple Grove Reservoir has becn upgraded several times and Urban Diainage and Fiood Control District is presenUy in the process of upgtadiag the dam again.
