Midroof & Final Roof inspections for ROOFS 6/12 PITCH & OVER: 3rd party inspection will be
required for both the midroof and final inspections. The 3rd party inspection report AND

REGARDING ROOF VENTILATION: Roof ventilation shall comply with IBC Sec. 1203.2 or IRC Sec.
R806. The installation of ridge venting requires the installation or existence of soffit
venting. For calculation purposes, one hat or turtle vent equal to one-half of one square
foot of opening.
Effective December 1, 2014, asphalt shingle installations require an approved midroof
inspection, conducted when 25-75 percent of the roof covering is installed, prior to final
approval. Installation of roof sheathing (new or overlay) is required on the entire roof
when spaced or board sheathing with ANY gap exceeding one half inch exists. Sheathing and
mid -roofs may be called in at the same time, one hundred percent of the sheathing must be
complete and 25-75 percent of the mid -roof may be complete. Asphalt shingles are required
to be fastened to the roof deck with a minimum of 6 nails per shingle. Ice and water shield
is required. Eave and rake metal is required. A ladder extending 3 feet above the roof eave
and secured in place is required to be provided for all roof inspections. Roof ventilation
is required to comply with applicable codes and/or manufacturer installation instructions,
whichever is more stringent. In order to pass a final inspection of elastomeric or similar
type roof coverings, a letter of inspection and approval from the manufacturer technical
representative stating that "the application of the roof at (project address) has been
applied in accordance with the installation instruction for (roof material brand name) roof
covering" is required to be on site at the time of final inspection.

2. This permit shall expire 365 days after the date of issuance regardless of activity. Requests for extension must be made in writing and

Residential Roofing Permit Application
This application is exclusively for new permits for residential roofs and for licensed
contractors only. This type of permit is ONLY being processed online --do not come
to City Hall to submit an application in person. Permits are processed and issued in
the order they are received and due to the volume of requests, time to process
varies and is subject to change. YOU WILL BE CONTACTED WHEN YOUR
PERMIT IS READY FOR PICK-UP AND WILL BE GIVEN A SPECIFIC DATE
AND TIME WINDOW TO COMPLETE THE TRANSACTION. You will be notified if
your contractor's license or insurance has expired, and you may update those
documents at the time you are issued your permit.
For all other requests:
Homeowners wishing to obtain a roofing permit must apply for the permit in person
at City Hall. Revisions to existing permits (for example, to add redecking) must be
completed in person at City Hall. All other non -roofing permits must be completed in
person at City Hall. The Building Division will be open from 7:30-10:30 a.m.,
Monday through Friday to process these types of requests.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1) ENTIRE AGREEMENT; GOVERNING LAW. This Agreement is the entire agreement between the parties concerning services
to be provided to Client by Right Angle Contracting, LLC., and replaces and supersedes and prior or contemporaneous negotiations,
oral representations, agreements or understandings among or attributed to the parties hereto. This agreement and all performances
under it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado.
2) CONTROLLING LAW. Right Angle Contracting, LLC., and Client hereby expressly agree that any and all claims arising from
Right Angle Contracting, LLC., work shall be subject to the rights remedies and procedures provided in the Construction Defect
Reform Act, C.R.S. $$ 13-20-802 et seq.
3) STANDARD OF CARE. Right Angle Contracting, LLC.'s, services as defined in the Agreement shall be performed in accordance
with generally accepted principals and procedures, consistent with a level of care and skill ordinarily practiced by specialists currently
providing similar services under similar circumstances at the time Right Angle Contracting, LLC's, services we provided. Client shall
provide Right Angle Contracting, LLC., written notice of any claim or default under the Agreement in accordance with the
Construction Defect Reform Act. Right Angle Contracting, LLC., shall be afforded the opportunity to inspect the premises and
respond to the claim either by making a monetary settlement offer or offering remedy to the construction defect in accordance with the
Construction Defect Reform Act.
4) OBLIGATION OF CLIENT. Client warrants that all.information provided to Right Angle Contracting LLC., is complete and
accurate to the best of Client's knowledge, and Client understands that Right -Angle Contracting LLC., is relaying upon Client's
information to do its work.
5) WARRANTY. Right Angle Contracting LLC., is not a manufacture. If any equipment or product is purchased by Right Angle
Contracting LLC., for use on site the manufactures warranties if any of the equipment or product are solely of the manufacture. Right
Angle Contracting LLC., makes no other representation, guarantee or warranty, express or implied, in fact or by law, whether of
merchantability fitness for a particular purpose, or otherwise concerning any of the goods or services used or purchased by Right Angle
Contracting LLC., that may be furnished by Right Angle Contracting LLC., to Client.
6) CHANGE ORDERS. Any change orders requested by the property owner post signing the agreement must be agreed upon between
the property owner and Right Angle Contracting LLC., in writing and will be in addendum to this agreement.
7) INSURANCE. Right Angle Contracting LLC., carries $1,000,000.00 in general liability insurance. insurance certificates are readily
available upon request. Insurer and policy verification can be obtained through George Janson at The Ahbe Group (303) 730-2220.
8) RESCISSION. You the buyer may cancel this transaction and receive a full refund of any amounts paid at buyer's sole discretion at
anytime prior to midnight of the third business day after the date of execution of this contract. In witness whereof purchaser(s) each
acknowledge receipt of a completed copy of this contract, and all disclosures on the day and year written on the front of this contract.
If you plan to use proceeds of a property and casualty insurance policy to pay for work, you may rescind the contract within 72 hours
after you receive written notice from the property and casualty insurer that your claim has been denied in whole or part. However,
Right Angle Contracting LLC., is entitled to retain payments or deposits to compensate Right Angle Contracting LLC., for
construction work actually performed in a workmanlike manner consistent with standard construction industry practices.
9) PAYMENTS. Payments made to Right Angle Contracting LLC., are subject to change with written notice. Down payments of any
kind will and only be used when ordering custom material even before work starts. Upon work starting payments will be made to
Right Angle Contracting LLC., on a completion basis. Final payment will be due no longer than 15 days after work is completed and
any permits have been inspected and passed.
10) SUPPLEMENTS. In the event additional work is performed that is absent in the original scope of loss provided by your insurance company,
either required by city/county code or overlooked during the insurance adjustment, a supplement for funds to the insurance provider for the assigned
property. Any and all additional funds associated with by the work performed by Right Angle Contracting LLC; released by the insurance provider are
intended for and will be paid to Right Angle Contracting LLC. Supplements may be but are not limited to permit, code upgrades, taxes, base services
charges, overhead and profit.
11) DEDUCTIBLE. Is the portion of the claim you the homeowner are responsible for paying and is not covered by your insurance company. The
deductible amount is stated within your policy and sho n on this contract is determined by you and your insurance carrier. This amount is subtracted
from your insurance claim totals and will be paid to Right Angle Contracting. Right Angle Contracting LLC, cannot pay, waive, rebate, or promise to
pay, waive, rebate all or part of any insurance deducti Ic per Senate Bill 12-038.
