Per our discussion today Ebner Plumbing is a subcontractor for Lowe's.
The end (retail) customer for Lowe's pays all of the retail sales tax on the
water heater they purchase the water heater & related installation at the
Lowe's store.
Therefore, Ebner Plumbing should not have paid the use tax on Wheat Ridge
permit 081202.
Based on this information, please refund the $16.20 of use tax charged to us
on this permit. Please mail the check back to the address listed above.
