Sheathing and Mid -roof inspections may be called in at the same time, 100 percent of the sheathing must be complete and 25-75 percent of the midroof may be complete. Asphalt shingles are required to be fastened to the roof deck with a minimum of 6 nails per shingle. Cancellation of This Agreement: Colorado Law grants the Homeowner a three (3) day right of recision: In the event of termination by owner after three (3) days, Owner shall pay Contractor (a) amounts due at the time based on the payment schedule for the work completed; (b) any amounts due in any Change Order; (c) amounts due for allowances or finish selections which have been made, (d) all expenses incurred by Contractor in connection with the Project that are not otherwise covered under this subparagraph; and (e) all of the amounts to be paid to Contractor as set forth in the preceding sentence, plus any profit Contractor would have earned under the Agreement in the absence of such default by Owner. Foreign matter will cause bolts to bind as they slide in the slots. Installing Splices: If your installation uses SolarMount splice bars, attach the rails together (Fig. 13) before mounting the rails to the footings. Use splice bars only with flush installations or those that use low- profile tilt legs. Although structural, the joint is not as strong as the rail itself. A rail should always be supported by more than one footing on both sides of the splice. (Reference installation manual 908, Splices /Expansion Joints.) Mounting Rails on Footings: Rails may be attached to either of two mounting holes in the I�feet (Fig. 14). Mount in the lower hole for a low profile, more aesthetically pleasing installation. Mount in the upper hole for a higher profile, which will maximize airflow under the modules. This will cool them more and may enhance performance in hotter climates. Slide the % -inch mounting bolts into the footing bolt slots. Loosely attach the rails to the footings with the flange nuts. Ensure that the rails are oriented to the footings as shown in Figure 8, 9, 11, or 12, whichever is appropriate. Aligning the Rail End: Align one pair of rail ends to the edge of the installation area (Fig. 15 or Fig. 16). The opposite pair of rail ends will overhang the side of the installation area. A site plan, prepared and signed by a Colorado registered professional engineer, at a scale of no less than 1 inch to twenty feet (1 :20) which illustrates the following: 1. Location an dimensions of all property boundaries and structures on the site. 2. Location and extent of areas to be filled and/or excavated. 3. Location of existing waterways and drainage courses indicating any changes. (for a site containing an established irrigation ditch, a letter of approval from the appropriate ditch company shall be required). 4. Location of existing and proposed points of ingress. 5. Location and extent of existing vegetation, proposed changes in such vegetation and methods of rehabilitation on site vegetation after earthwork operations are complete. 6. Erosion conirol plan. 7. Grading plan with existing (dashed lines) and proposed (solid lines) ground contours with contour intervals of 2 feet and spot elevations. 8. At least two cross sections (east to west and north to south) through the site showing depth of fill and/or excavation. 9. Statement of purpose of intended fill and/or excavation. 4. Performance Standards: The following provisions shall apply to ail Minor Excavation and Fill Permits A. Rehabilitation: Within thirty(30) days after cessation of filling and/or excavation, rehabilitation for the site shall have been completed in accordance with the approved plans. Rehabilitation shall consist of leveling, grading, landscaping or any combination thereof to minimize potential erosion and be acceptable to the City Engineer. B. Debris: Debris and/or contaminants shall noi be used except with the approval of the City Engineer. "For the purpose of this Section, the term debris shall have the same meaning as the terms "garbage, trash or junk" as defined in the Wheat Ridge Code of Laws, Section 20- 21 In no case shall debris or contaminates identified or classified as hazardous waste by local, state or federal agencies be used as fill in any fill areas within the City of Wheat Ridge.
