Installation of roof sheathing (new or overlay) requires an approved inspection prior to installation of ANY roof coverings and is require on the entire roof when spaced or board sheathing with ANY gap exceeding one half inch exists. Asphalt shingles are required to be fastened to the roof deck with a minimum of 6 nails per shingle. Ice and water shield is required. Eave and rake metal is required. A ladder extending 3 feet above the roof eave and secured in place is required to be provided for all roof inspections. Roof ventilation is required to comply with applicable codes and/or manufacturer installation instructions, whichever is more stringent. MEMORANDUM I Approved Date DEPA44'TPAM1'I"' OF PVB4SC'NOIIRSS, TO: Alan White, Director of Planning and Development FROM: Bob Goebel, Director of Public Works~ DATE: April 6, 1999 SUBJECT: Happy Landings / 32nd and Teller Since Greg Knudson is presently on vacation, I have reviewed the resubmittal of corrections to the revised drainage plan for the referenced project. The initial comments were taken care of to a degree, however, there are still minor details which need correction. I feel that these details may be worked out when Greg returns and are not significant enough to hold up the Building Permit. Therefore, I will approve the issuance of a building permit with the condition that these minor details are corrected in the very near future after Greg's return and appropriate response to the Engineer. If these items are not addressed, we reserve the right to issue another stop work order until such final set of erosion control and drainage plans are approved by Greg. Final signed approval of the building permit will occur when the plans are complete to Greg's satisfaction.
