Thank you for the opportunity to examine your roof framing system to determine the accept
ability for the, installation of a new roofing system. We examined the attic to see the roof sul

a new tile roof to replace the one being removed.
When the roof is to off, the roof deck should be checked to verify that the sheathing is
nailed using I fastener every 6" along the seams and 12" on-center in the field of the sheath-
ing.

Dear Mr. Chinberg:
Thank you for the opportunity to examine your roof framing system to determine the accept-
ability for the installation of a new roofing system. We examined the attic to see the roof sup-
ports, the house for existing drywall cracks or other evidence of movement. There are always
areas that are not observable and we attempted to determine the framing method in those loca-
tions.
There was no significant storage in the attic space. It is assumed that no additional storage
will be done in the attic. Loading the bottom chord of trusses can change their behavior, If
