In order to pass a final inspection on commercial elastomeric or similar type roofing, a
letter of inspection and approval from the manufacturer technical representative stating
that "the application of the roof at (project address) has been applied in accordance with
the installation instruction for (roof material brand name) roof covering" is required to
be on site at the time of final inspection.
Effective December 1, 2014, asphalt shingle installations require an approved midroof
inspection, conducted when 25-75 percent of the roof covering is installed, prior to final
approval. Installation of roof sheathing (new or overlay) is required on the entire roof
when spaced or board sheathing with ANY gap exceeding one half inch exists. Sheathing and
Mid -roof inspections may be called in at the same time, 100 percent of the sheathing must
be complete and 25-75 percent of the midroof may be complete. Asphalt shingles are required
to be fastened to the roof deck with a minimum of 6 nails per shingle. A ladder extending 3
feet above the roof eave and secured in place is required to be provided for all roof
inspections. Roof ventilation is required to comply with applicable codes and/or
manufacturer installation instructions, whichever is more stringent.

I . This permit was issued based on the information provided in the permit application and accompanying plans and specifications and is

2. This permit shall expire 365 days after the date of issuance regardless of activity. Requests for extension must be made in writing and
received prior to the date of expiration. An extension of no more than 180 days made be granted at the discretion of the Chief Building
Official and may be subject to a fee equal to one-half of the originalppermit fee.

5. The permit holder shall notify the Building and Inspection Services Division in accordance with established policy of all required
inspections and shall not proceed or conceal work without written approval of such work from the Building and Inspection Services
Division.
6. The issuance or granting of a permit shall not be construed to be a permit for, or an approval of, an violation of any provision of any
applicable code or any ordinance or regplation of this jurisdiction. Approval of work is subject to field inspection.

Thank you for your letter dated February 22, 2001 concerning the location
of the new addition along 44~h fsvenue. Compass Montessori Building
Corporation was surprised to learn of the discrepancies listed in the letter.
However, the school and building corporation are dedicated to work
closely with the City of Wheat Ridge to resolve the issues that have
confronted us.
Please accept this letter as response to the February 22, 2001 letter, which
required we respond prior to March 2, 2001. We have already arranged a
meeting with Alan White, Director of Planning and Development, Mary
Austin, City Planner and you for Tuesday, March 6, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. At
this time, we look forward to moving ahead to resolve the issues

A concem has been brou,aht to our attention regarding the location oF the new addition
and the building setback along 44`h Avenue. I have visited the site and talked with your
contractor regazding the addition being built within the front yard setback.
It appears the new addition is located approximately two feet into the front yard building
setback and the front overhang is also encroaching into to the front yard building setback.
Due to the building location not being located per the information submitted to the city
for review prior to construction, the city must require that the south wall of the structure
be relocated out of the front yard setback and the front overhang be removed so that no
more than thirty inches encroaches into the front yard setback.
Please contact our office no later than March 2, 2001 with a wntten time frame stating
when and how these discrepancies will be corrected.

of Final Drainage Report, Street Construction Drawings and
Grading/Erosion Control Plan
Dear Ms. Mizunzo,
This letter is to inform you that the final drainage report,
street construction plans, and the grading/erosion control plan
for the above referenced project have been reviewed and approved
for construction. Please be aware of the following items
regarding the construction of the project:
1. The proposed drainage facilities shall be constructed then
approved by the City of Wheat Ridge prior to issuance of the
Certificate of Completion.
2. Erosion control for the project shall be placed in
conformance with the approved drainage/erosion control plan
and shall be maintained as needed during the course of
construction.
3. All drainage improvements shall be constructed in
conformance with the approved drainage report and plan.
4. Upon completion of the drainage improvements the engineer,
Ms. Sue Mizuno, P.E. shall provide to the City of Wheat
Ridge a letter of certification stating that the various
improvements, as defined in the drainage report and plan,
have been accurately surveyed to confirm that their
construction is in accordance with these documents. The
certification letter shall be written and stamped by the
engineer who prepared the drainage report, and shall be
submitted for review and approval by the City prior to
issuance of the Certificate of Completion.
5. It will be the responsibility of the contractor for the
project to repair any damage to the existing public
improvements on Miller Street and 44th Avenue as a result of
related construction traffic in the area. Also, the
contractor will be responsible for maintaining Miller
Street and 44th Avenue frontage on a regular basis such that
they are free of construction debris and tracking from
construction traffic accessing the site.
6. It will be the responsibility of the developer/owner, to
provide the necessary testing, as applicable fro the scope
of this project, for subgrade compaction and other related
material tests for those improvements to be constructed
within public right-of-way.
(SEE ATTACHED MATERIAL SAMPLING & TESTING REQUIREMENTS)
7. Prior to any construction of the public improvements, the
necessary right-of-way construction permit(s) and
respective licensing will need to be submitted for
processing by the City.

I have completed the second review of the above referenced
documents for the school received on January 8, 2001, and have
the following comments:
Subdivision Plat
1. A Consolidation Plat needs to be prepared by the applicant and
submitted to the City for review and approval.
Any questions related to these plat corrections can be addressed
to Mr. Dave Brossman, P.L.S. at 303-235-2864.
Traffic Engineering
A copy of the construction plans has been forwarded to the City's
Traffic Engineer, Mr. Steve Nguyen, P.E., 303-235-2862 and has
the following comments:
l. Please show and label the white flexible delineators on the
island along Miller Street.
2. The location of the accessibility ramp does not allow adequate
room for by-pass traffic in the loading/unloading area. The
proposed layout will create congestion during the busy hours.
Recommend relocating the ramp to an alternate location or
redesign the north end of the island in order to accommodate the
passing lane.
