The following requirements are made under the 2003 Tntemational Fire
Code adopted by the Fire Eoard of the Wheat Ridge Fire Protection District
and the City Council of ttxe City of Wkaeat Ridge, Coloxado.
1. Plans shall be submitted to the Fire District for review for the tenant
finish. ( No plans have been submitted to date.)
2. Plans shall be submitted to the Fire District for approval of the
required Monitored Fire Alarm System. (A.D.A. requirements within
the batkuoo:m xequire strobe for notification af alarm.)
3. Plans show no G.F.I. outlets within 10 feet of the sinks. These shall be
required per the 2002 N.E.C...
4. Plans shall ramain onsite during all phases of construction.
5. The address nusnbers shall be clearly posted toward the street of
address.
6. A fire extinguisher with a minimum rating of 2A40BC shall be
mounted 3 to 5 feet form the floor surface, and be accessible to the
public as well as employees.
7. An emergency exit sign shall have battery back up for egress
illumination.
8. Signs shall be posted on the main eniry door stating "TBESB DOORS
ARE TO REMAIN ITNI.OCKED WHU„E THE BiJII.,DING IS
OCCUPIED."
9. A xeuaindex that tha use of axtension cords should be temporary use
only. Surge protectors which are U.L. approved should be used if
needed.
