In order to pass a final inspection on commercial elastomeric or similar type roofing, a
letter of inspection and approval from the manufacturer technical representative stating
that "the application of the roof at (project address) has been applied in accordance with
the installation instruction for (roof material brand name) roof covering" is required to
be on site at the time of final inspection.
Effective December 1, 2014, asphalt shingle installations require an approved midroof
inspection, conducted when 25-75 percent of the roof covering is installed, prior to final
approval. Installation of roof sheathing (new or overlay) is required on the entire roof
when spaced or board sheathing with ANY gap exceeding one half inch exists. Sheathing and
Mid -roof inspections may be called in at the same time, 100 percent of the sheathing must
be complete and 25-75 percent of the midroof may be complete. Asphalt shingles are required
to be fastened to the roof deck with a minimum of 6 nails per shingle. A ladder extending 3
feet above the roof eave and secured in place is required to be provided for all roof
inspections. Roof ventilation is required to comply with applicable codes and/or
manufacturer installation instructions, whichever is more stringent.

You are allowed - 1 freestanding sign for every street right -of -way adjacent to your
property. The allowable sign size is related to building size.

After a review of the proposed remodel for Dr. Mark Anema, 7900 W. 44 Ave, I am
submitting the following information concerning this prqject:
1. Remove the medial gas room from the basement and place it within the suite. Options to
this requirement are: 1. If the room remains in the basement, the building will be required
to haue a complete fire sprinkier system installed though out the entire building. The
installation of the sprinkler system will require the installation of a fully addressable fire
detection system through the building. The fue alann system will be required to be
monitored by an outside agency at all times. Compliance with the fire and building code
can be achieved without the sprinkler and alarm system installation if the medical gas room
is located on. the first floor as required by the building code and fire code. Should the
choice be made to leave the medicai gas room in the basement, then the plans for the
sprinkler system and the fire alarm system will need to be provided for approval prior to
moving ahead with the remodel of the area.
2. Issues and or items not addressed will be addressed as the need arises.

discuss the issues.
