Thank you for the opportunity to examine your roof framing system to determine the accept-
ability for the installation of a new roofing system. We examined the attic to see the roof sup-
ports, the house for existing drywall cracks or other evidence of movement. There are always
areas that are not observable and we attemvted to determine the framina method in those loca-_
There was no significant storage in the attic space. It is assumed that no additional, storage
will be done in the attic. Loading the bottom chord of trusses can change their behavior. If

Using the infortnation we collected we were able to model the support system in your house.
The house is stick framed. The fern are 2x6s. They are supported using diagonal supports
down to a bearing wall in the center of the house. That model looks like this:
