On review, it is not meeting the specifications outlined in the ASDM (the manual I linked to in my previous email). For heavy commercial uses, the ADSM requires at least 15% transparency (i.e. windows) on the fagade. As sides that are visible from the street and residential uses, this requirement would apply to both the east and west facades (i.e. each side would need to meet the requirement). We understand you are retrofitting an existing structure, so you will need to get as close as possible to the 15% transparency requirement. Fence On May 8, 2018, Staff sent a letter to the property owner regarding the fence height being in violation of the City Code. A month later, Bahram was given a copy of the letter when he stopped by City Hall. The following restrictions shall apply to outdoor light control, including lighting within or directed upon outdoor signs: 1. All fixtures shall be fully shielded.
