Our proj ect has had active wark done on it without a break greater than 6 months, since the project began. There have been many reasons for the lengthy completion delay. The biggest reason has been unexpected over-budget cases in the form of decayed gas line, completely inadequate existing electrical service, major grade revisions, etc. After these problem hurdles were overcome the boiler went south, necessitating a new 187,500 BTU unit be installed. Shortly after this, the existing roof developed three extensive leaks, resulting in a three-layer tear-off, foriy-three square roofing job (addition included). These set-backs dictated that much of the remaining work would be continued at a slower pace, and much more to be done by myself. I must admit, I know my way around automobile mechanics, but home construction mechanics are another matter. Insulation I could handle. Helping with some of the ou h electric was painless. Skylights? Why did I need skylights? ~ \J We had little talent and even less money, but we slowly pressed on.
