I am not sure if you were made aware. The basement is about 95% complete already.
1. My basement is about 950 sgft, I removed and replaced about 450 sqft of the slab.
2. The "kitchen" is meant as the wet bar. When I was in the building department a couple weeks ago they
said it can't have a stove. The kitchen or wet bar will just have a sink, refrigerator and possibly a
dishwasher. It will not have an oven/stove
3. See above
4. 1 already did an asbestos test and included it with the paperwork I submitted. It came back negative.
5. The windows and wells are all existing and will remain existing.

1. Is the entire concrete slab being removed and replaced in the basement or just in certain locations.
2. You plans denotes a kitchen in the basement. Please clarify if there is a full kitchen in the basement
or "kitchenette". What types of cooking appliances are installed?
3. 1 couldn't find the location of the wet bar. Please show location for this area and label as wet bar.
4. The proposed walls to be removed, depending on the material, may contain asbestos. An asbestos
test report will be required for any demolition of materials. (See attached information from
CDPHE).
5. Are you changing any of the windows in the basement? Are the window wells that you have shown
new or existing?
With helping me to clarify some of these items, I will be able to continue with my review.

Dear Mr. Feulner:
As requested, I performed limited, visual only, observations of the above referenced home throughout the
repair process. The purpose of these visits was to observe the installation of the helical piers along the
rear portion of the above referenced address and verify conformance with the above referenced plan. The
piers are intended to support the affected rear portion of the home and stabilize this area from further
settlement.
The helical piers were observed to be installed by Rocky Mountain Steel Piering, Inc., utilizing a portable
torque head to advance the piers into the ground. The helical piers were observed to be 1 -1/2 -inch
rounded corner square steel shafts with a single 8 -inch helix near the base of each lead section. The piers
were observed to be advanced approximately 15- to 20 -feet below the bottom of the foundation
components and torqued to approximately 4,000 ft -lbs. The torque was verified by utilizing a dial gauge,
which was attached to the hydraulic control for the torque head. The installation of the helical piers was
observed to be in general compliance with the recommendations within the above referenced document.
Also, the installation of the steel bracket assemblies and steel angle members were observed to be
performed in general compliance with the above referenced document.
