We are required to use certain techniques to ensure the lead is correctly removed when the amount disturbed exceeds twenty square feet. Typically the amount of paint disturbed is negligible if just the roof is being replaced but almost always the case if gutters or siding are being removed. Tiley Roofing is a lead certified renovation firm allowing us to perform this procedure. Prior to contracting please let us know if your house was built prior to 1978. If the house is pre -1978 we will perform a lead test. If the testis positive for lead we will assess a fee in addition to the above costs. Generally this fee ranges Rom $500 to$1000.
