This afternoon i had occasion to inspect a wood burning stove for
Kathi Vigil, 6141 W. 47th Avenue, Wheat Ridge.
The unit is interesting, but as far as I can determine it does
not conform to the Wheat Ridge Code for the following reasons:
1. It was installed by previous owner, without benefit of a
permit or installation inspections.
2. I could not find any approval by an independent testing
agency. This is required by the Uniform Building Code
and the Uniform Mechanical Code. Without this labeling
we would not issue a permit.
