of elastomeric or similar type roof coverings, a letter of inspection and approval from the
manufacturer technical representative stating that "the application of the roof at (project
address) has been applied in accordance with the installation instruction for (roof
material brand name) roof covering" is required to be on site at the time of final
inspection.
Roof inspections for ROOFS OVER 6/12 PITCH: 3rd party inspection will be required, the 3rd
party inspection report will be collected at final roof inspection performed by City of
Wheat Ridge. If report is not available the final inspection will not be completed.

2. This permit shall expire 365 days after the date of issuance regardless of activity. Requests for extension must be made in writing and
received prior to the date of expiration. An extension of no more than 180 days made be granted at the discretion of the Chief Building
Official and may be subject to a fee equal to one-half of the original permit fee.
1 If this permit expires, a new permit may be required to be obtained. Issuance of a new permit shall be subject to the standard
requirements, fees and procedures for approval of any new pen -nit. Re -issuance or extension of expired permits is at the sole discretion of
the Chief Building Official and is not guaranteed.

This application is exclusively for new permits for residential roofs and for licensed
contractors only. This type of permit is ONLY being processed online --do not come
to City Hall to submit an application in person. Permits are processed and issued in
the order they are received and due to the volume of requests, time to process
varies and is subject to change. YOU WILL BE CONTACTED WHEN YOUR
PERMIT IS READY FOR PICK-UP AND WILL BE GIVEN A SPECIFIC DATE
AND TIME WINDOW TO COMPLETE THE TRANSACTION. You will be notified if
your contractor's license or insurance has expired, and you may update those
documents at the time you are issued your permit.
For all other requests:
Homeowners wishing to obtain a roofing permit must apply for the permit in person
at City Hall. Revisions to existing permits (for example, to add redecking) must be
completed in person at City Hall. All other non -roofing permits must be completed in
person at City Hall. The Building Division will be open from 7:30-10:30 a.m.,
Monday through Friday to process these types of requests.

This letter is to certify that Watter G. Keske of this office reviewed the new roof framing
connection of beam to roof trusses at the project referenced above.
A 2x4 plate was placed on the steel beam with #8 tek screws at 16" o.c. The tension capacity of
the screw is at least 330 Ibs, the shear capacity of the screw is at least 235 Ibs, based on 12
gage metal. These capacities are greater for 3/16" metal thickness, and are also greater than the
loads of hurricane clips.
Therefore the connection capacity of 2x4 plate to beam is greater than the connection capacity
of hurricane clip, and is judged to be adequate.

of the next such payment, constieute an event of default under this Deed of Trust. The grantee may collect a"late charge" not
[o exceed four cents (44) for each dollar ($1) of each paymen[ more than fiftten (1S) days in arrears to cover the extra ex-
pense involved in handling delinquent payments.
3. That if the total uf the paymeiits made by the grentor under (b) paragraph 2 preceding shall exceed the amount of payments
actually made by the beneficiary for taxes or assessments or insurance premiums, as the case may be, such excess, if the loan is
current, at the option of the granror shall be credited by the beneficiary on subsequent payments ro be made by the grantor, or re-
funded to the grantoc If, however, the monthly payments made by the granmr under (b) of paragraph 2 preceding shall not be suffi•
cient to pay taxes and assessments and insurance premiums as the case may be, when the same shall become due and payable, then the
grantor shll pay to the bene6ciary any amount necessary to make up the deficiency, on or before the date when payment of such
taxes, assessments, or insurance premiums shall be due. If at any time the granror shall tender to the beneficiary, in accordance with
the provisions of the note secured hereby, full payment of the entire indebtedness represented thereby, the beneficiary shall, in com-
puting the amount of such indebtedness, credit to the account of the grantor all payments made under the provisions of (a) of para-
graph 2 hereof, which the holder of said noce has not bewrne obligated to pay to the Secrotary of Housing and Urban Development,
and any balance remaining in the funds accumulated under the provisions of (6) of paragraph 2 hereof. If thero shall be a defauit under
any of the provisions of this Deed of Tmst resul[ing in a public sale by the nustee or trustees of the premises covered hereby, or if the
beneficiary acquires the property otherwise after default, the beneficiary shall apply, at the time of the commencement of such pro-
ceedings, or at the time the property is otherwise acquired, the baiance then remaining in the funds accumulated under (6) of para-
graph 2 preceding, as a credit against the amount of principal then remaining unpaid under said note, and shall pcoperly adjust any
payments which shall have been made under (a) of paragraph 2.
4. That he will pay all taxes, assessments, water rates, and other governmental or municipal charges, fines, or impositions, for
which provision has not been made hereinbe(ore, and in default thereof the beneficiary may pay the same; and that he will prompUy
deliver the officiai receipts therefor to the beneficiary.
5. That he will keep the improvements now existing or hereafter erocted on the said premises, insured as may be required from
time to time by the beneficiary against loss by fire and other hazards, casualties, and contingencies in such amounts and for such
periods as may be required by the beneficiary and will pay promptly, when due, any premiums on such insurance provisions for pay-
ment of which has not been made hereinbefore. All insurance shap be carried in companies approved by the beneficiary and the
policies and renewals thereof shall be held by the beneficiary and have attached thereto loss payable clauses in favor of and in form
acceptable to the beneficiary. In event of loss the grantor will give immediate notice by mail to the beneficiary, who may make proof
of loss if not made promptly by the grantor, and each insurance company concerned is hereby authorized and directed to make pay
