The following corrections and additional submittal items are required prior to the continuation of the
plan review and issuance of a permit for the project at 4090 Youngfield Street/Lens Dynamics:
1. Clarify the scope of the process and the materials/machinery used to manufacture the product,
including MSDS and quantity stored inFormation, and "compressor" and lathe information.
2. Provide scaled plans with room, area, and exiting dimensions for the entire facility.
3. Provide Yhe appropriate construction type in accordance with the 2003 IBC.
4. Provided UL or GA listed assemblies for fire-rated walls.
5. Provide plans that show sprinkler pipe sizing and location, in addition to indicating sprinkler head
location and coverage throughout the facility.
6. Provide engineered plans for HVAC and Electrical systems.
7. Provide detail drawings indicating bathroom compliance with ANSI 117.1-2003 requirements.
Once the above items are submitted to the Building Division in their entirety, review of the plans and
documents for the proposed plans will be re-initiated. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

Compressor Room: 10' high 3 5/8" steel studs 25 ga. 2' OC exterior wall to have 10' high x

X sheet rock taped smooth finish and painted. The ceiling shall be 20 ga steel studs 16" OC

Existing doors shall have the hardware replaced with lever type.
Fire Walls between the office and the Lab area - 6-0 x 7-0 solid core doors 60 min stamped
fire rated doors with spring hinges and lever type hardware.
Sidelights: Sidelights shall be timely frames with tempered glass
Plumbing: Toilets shall be 17" - 19" high, both restrooms to have lever type faucet scold guard kits, 42"
grab bars at the side of each toilet offset from the rear wall 12" and a 36" grab bar at the rear
of the toilet, paper towel and Toilet paper dispensers mount sink bowl @ 33" from the floor.

Add a hnro base cabinets with a sink, tie into existing hot water heater and cold water supply
Cut floor under new cabinets and tie into the existing 4" sewer line and vent with a studer Cut

HVAC: The Lab and the front office area have existing HVAC to them the warehouse area has an
existing unit heater. The compressor room shall either have Air Conditioning unit currently

Electrical: Required by drawing: All lighting is existing in both lab and office area some need relocation.
All lights shall be wire tied to the perlins. Some existing outlets to remain with new outlets
added.
Ceiling: Existing grid ceiling with 2x4 tiles in both office and lab areas.
Sprinkler: 4" main line, scheduled system main to 1 1/2" with 1" openings at the heads. The office area
has 225 ordinary hazord heads, the Lab area has 120 light hazord heads
