This letter will serve as a letter of explanation for the changes. During construction of the patios off of units 8 & 9, the contractor found an existing gas line that is running directly in line with where the proposed footings and piers were to be installed for the new stairs and patio. A to Z Roofing shall perform the work described in this contract in accordance with the Specifications set forth on the contract cover page and with any agreed- upon change orders (the "Work'). All required building permits will be obtained and paid for by A to Z Roofing. With respect to roofrepairs, CUSTOMER acknowledges that the color, texture and planes between existing and new materials may not match and may be detectable, despite A to Z Roofing's reasonable efforts at matching. All charges, taxes, assessments or fees required by any governmental body shall be paid for by CUSTOMER. 2 Payment; Lien Waivers. Payment of all amounts due for contracts subject to the insurance contingency of Section 1 shall be due and payable immediately upon receipt by CUSTOMER of insurance proceeds.
