SUBJECT: Outdoor Promotions Bus Shelters
DATE: March 11, 1999
I received a phone call from Susan Altes of RTD concerning the Outdoor Promotions bus
shelters. Susan informed me that Outdoor Promotions has been removing RTD's bus shelters, in
particular at 44`h and Wadsworth and 38`h and Wadsworth without RTD's permission. Outdoor
Promotions needs torestore the RTD shelters to their previous condition. Attached is a list of
locations where RTD has permanent easements and bus shelters. Outdoor Promotions does not
have RTD's approval to do any work in these areas. Susan said that she does like Outdoor
Ptomotions' shelters, but if the City wants Outdoor Promotions' rather than RTD's, then further
discussion will be necessary.
