1. This permit was issue n accordance with the provisionsset forth in your application and is subject to the laws of the
State of Colorado and to the Zoning Regulations and Huilding Codes of Wheat Ridge, Colorado or any other applicable
ordinances of the City. - 2. This permit shall espire 180 days from the issue date. Requests for an extension must be received prior to espiration .
date. An extension may be granted at the discretion of the Building -0fficial.
3. If this.permit espires, a new permit may be acquired for a fee of one-half the amount normally required, provided no changes have been or will be made in the original plans and specifications and any suspension or abandonment has not exceeded one (1) year. If changes have been or if suspension or abandonment exceeds,one (1) year, £ull fees shall be paid for a new permit. . .

Annex - A
Reinforced Concrete S/ab Specification:
S/ab Construction:
1. Concrete shall be cast against form work.
2. The slab shall be not less than 125mm (4-7/8 inch) thick.
3. The slab shall be reinforced with #4 or #5 ASTM A706 or ASTM A615 Grade 40 or 60
bars spaced not more than 200mm (7-7/8 inch) on center in each direction, with 30mm
(1-1/4 inch) Gear cover from the bottom of the slab to the first layer of bars, and the
second layer of bars laid directly on top of the lower layer in the opposite direction.
4. Exposed slabs shall be sloped to effectively shed water away.
Surface Finish:
1. The surface finish of concrete slab to be even and textured to avoid slippage during wet
season or winter periods.
2. Dry cement shall not be added to the floor surfaces to absorb surplus water.
Bond Break
1. A bond-breaking material shall be placed between the slab and footing or rock.
Compressive Strength:
1. Where dampproofing is not provided the concrete used for floor-on-ground shall have a
compressive strength of not less than 25 MPa (3600 psi) after 28 days.
2. When dampproofing is provided the concrete used for floor-on-ground shall have a
compressive strength not less than 15MPa (2200 psi) after 28 days.
Coirosion Resisfance of Connectors:
1. Carbon steel connectors required to be corrosion-resistant shall be galvanized to at least
the minimum standard in table below.

Reinforced Concrete Slab Specification:
Slab Construction:
1. Concrete shall be cast against form work.
2. The slab shall be not less than 125mm (4-7l8 inch) thick.
3. The slab shall be reinforced with #4 or #5 ASTM A706 orASTM A615 Grade 40 or 60
bars spaced not more than 200mm (7-7/8 inch) on center in each direction, with 30mm
(1-114 inch) clear cover fram the bottom of the slab to the first layer of bars, and the
second layer of bars laid directly on top of the lower layer in the opposite direction.
4. Exposed slabs shall be sloped to effectively shed water away.
Surface Finish:
1. The surface finish of concrete slab to be even and textured to avoid slippage during wet
season or winter periods,
2. Dry cement shall not be added to the floor surfaces to absorb surplus water.
Bond Break:
1. A bond-breaking material shall be placed between the slab and footing or rock.
Compressive Sfrength:
1. Where dampproofing is not provided the concrete used for floor-on-ground shall have a
compressive strength of not less than 25 MPa (3600 psi) after 28 days.
2. When dampproofing is provided the concrete used for floor-on-ground shall have a
compressive strength not less than 15MPa (2200 psi) after28 days.
Corrosion Resistance of Connectors:
1. Carbon steel connectors required to be corrosion-resistant shall be galvanized to at least
the minimum standard in table below.
