As per March I, 2007 your contract for bus benches in the City of Wheat Ridge was not renewed due to an incomplete application. After an extension to April 13, 2007 for the removal of your courtesy benches, the benches still remain in their cunent locations. Effective immediately, the removal of the courtesy benches will commence. All cost associated with the removal of the benches will be the be charged to the owner. The benches will be stored for pick up by the owner at the City of Wheat Ridge Public Works Facility at 11220 W. 45`h Ave. The benches will be stored for an undetermined amount of time before they are destroyed. The cost of destroying the benches will also be charged to the owner. The City of Wheat Ridge assumes no responsibility to disrepair or other damages to the benches that occur before, during, or after the removal and storing of the benches. Please note the following: As per City of Wheat Ridge Code Sec 21-142(b) If complete application is not submitted to the building inspector by March I, the owner will be presusned to have abandoned his rights in the bench and the bench must be removed by first day of April. If the benches are not removed by this time the city shall have the immediate right to have the bus bench or benches removed at the expense of the owner. An inspection of benches will occur on the second day of April. If benches in the attached locations are not removed by this date, the city will remove them at your expense.
