Damper shall be removed from gas fire place this is very dangerous due to carbon monoxide. 2. All plumbing shall be working for final. 3. Handrails are needed on the stairway. 4. Drywall shall be completed under stairs per code. 5. Dryer shall be vented to the outside of the house. 6. Pressure relief valve on hot water heater shall termite no greater than 6" above the floor. Since there was work done without inspections and not noted on the original permit we will consider the following items not to code but will still issue a Certificate of Completion for the items listed on the original permit application. 1. The basement bedroom is missing a egress window and shall not be used or considered to be a bedroom. The only bedrooms to code are on the first floor. 2. The furnace is not working properly. 3. Gas fire place is not to code. 4. Wood fire place needs a 20" hearth. 5. Electrical cord is a trip hazard from gas fire place and is not to code 6. Insulation in the basement walls has not been inspected and would be easy to say there is no insulation in the walls. All permits are valid for one year from their date of issuance unless specifically requesting a longer period.
