type X sheet rock applied to both sides. Each side shall be taped smooth finished and
painted. The wallboard shall be applied parallel or at right angles to each side of 3 5/8"

floor and ceiling runners and intermediate studs. This new fire wall shall be tied into
existing one hour fire separation walls. Existing fire walls and 3 5/8" Wood studs 16"
o.c. Fire blocked approximately 6 to 8 feet up the wall. One layer of 5/8' type X sheet
rock both sides taped smooth finish and painted.
DOORS:
The walk through doors shall be 90 min. fire rated stamped doors with fire rated timely
frames; spring hinges and lever type passage hardware. The INTERIOR overhead doors
shall have no fire rating, with a dropped sprinkler head on each side. They are 9' x 8'
insulated ranch panel with 2" inch standard lift track, torsion spring assembly, hardware
and perimeter weather seal.
SPRINKLER-FIRE-EMERGENCY LIGHTING PLAN:
4" main line, scheduled system main to 1 1/z" -1" with 1" pennings at the head. The
common dock area with have 125 ordinary hazard heads. #10 fire extinguishers are
supplied at each overhead opening. Exit signs and battery back up with frog eyes shall be
installed over each walk through door.
ELECTRICAL: Required by drawing. Six - 8' florescent light fixtures to light the
common area dock. Four 3 phase unit heaters connected to the tenant panel boards. Unit
heaters to be 17,000 BTU's.
